Family Consultation
Duration: 30 minutes
Private Pay Only: $75
This service is for families who may have concerns about their child’s speech, language, and/or feeding development but are not sure a full evaluation is necessary.
Bring your burning questions and join us for a playdate! These sessions are available for in-person and virtual platforms and result in individualized, targeted suggestions for supporting your child in their development.
Evaluation
Duration: 60 minutes
We conduct a formal evaluation of every child that begins at Empower. This evaluation is meant to assess the specific concerns of your child. You will be provided with a written report within two weeks of the scheduled appointment. Evaluations are comprised of age-appropriate standardized assessments combined with subjective clinical observations and an extensive medical history.
Therapy
Duration: 45 minutes
Therapy is always individualized to the child. Specific areas that our clinic addresses include:
Feeding
Articulation
Motor speech disorders
Stuttering
Receptive/Expressive language
Pragmatic language
Progress Reports
Duration: 45 minutes
Our general policy is to conduct a formal reevaluation every six months, which results in a formal written report.
Our progress reports cost the same as an initial evaluation due to the time we take to reassess your child. We take great care in assessing their progress to date and composing a thorough report that reflects their gains and areas to develop.
Collaboration

Cost: Included with therapy
To ensure a holistic approach to your child’s treatment, we collaborate with all relevant care providers for your child. This means connecting with (as appropriate):
Pediatricians
Nutritionists
Social Workers
Psychologists
Educators
In addition, we do not hesitate to refer out to specialists when we feel it is necessary. This may involve things such as neuropsychologist consults, swallow studies and referrals to other therapeutic providers such as Occupational or Physical Therapy.
Preschool Screenings
Duration: 15 minutes
Cost: $25
Early identification of speech, language and/or feeding issues is integral to a child’s success in therapy. If you are a parent or early education provider, please connect with us to set up a time to complete this brief, cost-effective service. We can visit your home, school, or you can set up a telehealth appointment. You may also choose to complete an in-person screening at our clinic location at GROW Prenatal & Family Center during our hours of operation.
If you are a preschool provider, please contact us to coordinate a time for our clinical staff to visit your location. We are happy to coordinate a time to complete group screenings to make it easier on your staff!
Exit Sessions
Duration: 45 minutes
To complete treatment, it is highly recommended that clients and their families complete an Exit Session. During this session, clients and their families review the Discharge Summary Report with their therapist and have the opportunity to ask questions about continuing progress outside of skilled therapy sessions. With that said, we always love to hear from our clients and their families. Please connect if you or your child notices a relapse in skills, or would like to share success stories!
